Biography

Medellin, Colombia, 1959, The technique I use in my work is vitro experiments result own paint usually used on glass, which use different surfaces to find new mixes, practices and textures. Totumo (mate), gourd, wood and metal are some of these surfaces. With my work, I make a sincere tribute to the hundreds of men and women in Colombia, day to day, we bear witness to his tenacity, drive and joy through their daily tasks. Trades such as selling fruit (Palenque), flowers and fish, among others, are reflected in my work in honor of these national icons. I make a special thanks to the Big Brothers: the Kogi of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, the most renowned representatives of our culture Antioquia: coffee pickers, and silleteros of Santa Elena, the emblem of our city Medellin.
